G.F. Thompson Co. Ltd. has been supplying quality products under the brand name “Masters” for over 50 years.

Over that time, we have developed an extensive product line that we supply to the Plumbing, HVAC, Industrial and Retail trades.

With a manufacturing and shipping facility in Newmarket , Ontario and warehousing facilities in Calgary, Coquitlam and Regina ; G.F. Thompson Co. Ltd is well positioned to have product in the customer's hands without delay. Also, operating on a turnaround time of 48 hours for most orders and a 99.5% fill rate, we are and always will be totally dedicated to providing our customers with quality products, quality service and representation in the field.

G. F. Thompson Co. Ltd. was started in 1947 by Mr. Frank Thompson, who developed Metallic Compound, a pipe thread sealant that is known to this day as the "Cadillac" of all pipe thread sealants.

Mr. Thompson manufactured the sealant in his garage and sold it to contractors and wholesalers from the trunk of his car, before selling the company to the current owners in 1980.

Today, we manufacture more than 50 products under the brand name "MASTERS" and act as a distributor in Canada for such well known principals as IPS, Super-Ego, Swanstone and Midwest Snips

We own a 35,000 square foot facility, located 40 minutes from Toronto, Ontario, as well as distribution locations in both Calgary, Alberta and Coquitlam, British Columbia. In addition to our own sales force, we have contracted sales teams servicing Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec and the Maritimes.
